Event Marketing Manager (Japanese speaking)
Are you passionate about marketing and keen to pursue a career in B2B marketing? Our client is a fantastic B2B exhibitions business, creating world-renowned Technology exhibitions, and they are looking for someone to help them target the marketing for their Japan show.
They are looking to hire an Event Marketing Manager in the Singapore office, but this person could also be based in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will have digital marketing knowledge/experience, have an interest in technology, and have fluency in Japanese, based on the target market.
The Role as Event Marketing Manager
Strategy, planning, and execution of marketing campaigns across integrated platforms with a particular focus on EDM (email direct marketing) and social media
Reporting on campaign outcomes and working out how to improve them for the best traction
Database management, ensuring the database is up to date
Supporting the planning and execution of the registration process for visitors
Coming up with ideas and strategies on how to increase brand awareness, reach, and engagement
Keeping on top of industry trends and developing in-depth knowledge on relevant technology topics
Developing strong relationships within internal teams and stakeholders
Attending industry events to grow the network, knowledge, and represent the business
Your Experience and Profile as Event Marketing Manager
4-6 years of marketing experience, especially within the B2B events/exhibitions space, is highly preferred
A relevant degree within marketing, communications, or similar
An interest in technology
Fluency in Japanese is essential due to the show being in Japan
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Quick thinker and problem solver
Able to work individually and in a team
