The ideal candidate will be responsible for manipulating large datasets, applying statistical techniques, and building machine learning models to support investment strategies.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain Python-based data pipelines and workflows using DataFrames and other data tools. </li><li>Perform data manipulation, cleaning, and validation to support quantitative analysis. </li><li>Apply statistical methods and machine learning models to extract insights from complex datasets. </li><li>Collaborate closely with the quantitative investment team to support research and investment strategies. </li><li>Work onsite in Singapore and communicate results effectively to stakeholders. Job Requirements: </li><li>Strong proficiency in Python, including pandas and data manipulation libraries. </li><li>Experience with DuckDB or similar data query/processing tools is a plus. </li><li>Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning models. </li><li>Background in quantitative research, data science, or a related field. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced investment environment. </li><li>Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><ul><li>Prior experience in quantitative finance, investment research, or trading environments.</li><li>Knowledge of additional data tools and SQL-based platforms.</li></ul>
