Teacher Librarian (Junior School)

Dulwich College (Singapore) seeks an outstanding and inspiring Teacher Librarian for its Junior School from August 2026.

For this exciting opportunity at a leading international school, we invite applications from educators who have a love for reading and a passion for developing this in children. The successful candidate will also understand the opportunities that the library provides the community beyond borrowing books: a centre of research and collaboration, a pastoral space, and a learning hub that brings students, teachers and parents together through events and celebrations. They will work together with colleagues towards a vision for the Junior School library that is an integral part of our curriculum and helps children to develop the information literacy skills needed to navigate their future studies and a rapidly changing information landscape. They will bring progressive ideas for how the library can be developed and designed as a physical space, to facilitate all of its different purposes.

Our Junior School Teacher Librarian will work within a College-wide libraries team, as well as directly line manage a small team of caring assistants. A collegiate and supportive mindset is important. The successful candidate will also have knowledge and experience of the operational aspects of the role, including ordering and stock-taking, building collections and the use of an online library management system.

The successful candidate will be globally minded and work in a school that is incredibly well-resourced, with supportive and talented colleagues. They will receive an attractive and competitive renumeration package. They will have access to regular professional development, and trust from a leadership team that supports all initiatives that put students first, and is open to new thinking.

Above all, our teachers strive to develop a love for learning in every child.
